Cracking causes:

1. Teflon material quality is not good, resin molecular weight is too small or distribution is too wide, the content of hexafluoropropylene is too low, the composition is not uniformly distributed, unstable groups produce large molecular chain breakage, the ball crystal is too large and fragile so that the material withstand strength is reduced.

2. The color masterbatch added to FEP material is not integrated, if ETFE color masterbatch is used, it may cause the epidermis to tear.

3. Improper extrusion process, too small model, improper die selection, too large DRB, DDR imbalance, etc.

4. Uneven resin composition, resulting in poor plasticization, internal stress can not be eliminated.

5. Using the environment, the temperature is too low

6. Life span is up.

7. Whether DuPont, Daikin, and other imported brand materials, or Dongyue, Juhua, and other domestic brand materials, any one of them will not guarantee that the FEP cable is made without cracking.

Solution:

1. FEP material selection, whether DuPont, Daikin, Dongyue, or Juhua, choose the right model, melt finger to fit.

2. FEP material to join the special master batch.

3. Extrusion model, big machine to do a big line, small machine to do a small line, choose a proper die, DDR=50-150, DRB=095-1.05, extrusion speed is a little slow.

4. Proper plasticizing temperature to avoid bad plasticizing.

5. Proper use, and eliminate environmental influence.
